From December 11th to the 13th, e-future teamed up with Tianyi, one of e-future’s Chinese partners, to conduct a three-day workshop for over 400 teachers in northern Beijing. The teacher trainers were e-future’s Aaron Siegel and Soo Kim. Mr. Siegel focused on using songs and flashcards, teaching speaking and listening, and ended by doing a model lesson. Ms. Kim focused on grammar, phonics, and reading, as well as concluding with a model lesson. Mr. Siegel and Ms. Kim were thoughtfully supported by Yerry Kim, Jason Oh, and the entire Tianyi staff. 



Both Mr. Siegel and Ms. Kim would agree that the highlight of the three-day workshop was the teachers. They were a wonderful group, all 425 of them. They were active, engaged, willing to participate, and both curious and motivated to learn more and more. What a great group!

  

e-future, along with Tainyi, look forward to returning to China in the near future and conducting more workshops for teachers…hopefully though, it’ll be a bit warmer next time!
